Nursery School

Subject of my diploma thesis is design of new kindergarten for approximately 75 children in village Velký Týnec near Olomouc. Design is made in level of detailed design. The purpose od desing is hand in hand with the concept of preschool education - it is based on the fact that a younger age child has acquired the basics of key competences and thus has the prerequisites for his / her lifelong learning that would allow his / her easier and more reliable application in society. The architectural concept is based on a mutual dialogue between investor (supervisor) and designer (student) and takes into account the territorial, property, historical and other relationships in the given locality. Proposed building is an arched, non-duplex, two-storey building. The facades of the building are designed as ventilated, with wooden tiles, the roof is single-faced with a sloping attic. Entrance to object is from north side. First floor is divided into three parts - central part with entrance atrium and two side wings with nursery schools. Second floor consists of the third department of kindergarten, headmaster office and the quarantine room. The static desigh of object is made up of ceramic blocks on the first floor, and on second floor, the system is combined with cross-sections which are led by columns. The ceilings are designed from pre-stressed spiroll panels. Park landscaping was designed on the surrounding site.

The subject of this work is the solution of a new building of nursery school in the village of Ivanovice. It is a cellarless, two-storey building for 40 childern. The floor plan is „L“ shaped with orientation of the classes to the south and west which provide enough rate (amount) of insolation which support good mood and development of the childern. The object is situated in medium sloping land mainly in the area of familly and residential houses. The main entrance to the building is situated on the south from where si access road to the object too. Comfort parking is provided by ten parking places, one is determined for disabled people. The lighting and ventilation of all rooms is provided by windows. Roofing is solved using of wooden truss in combination with single casing roof.

in English language Work-life balance This diploma thesis explores various (international, European, and Czech) legal sources and practices related to work-life balance. The changes brought by the Directive (EU) 2019/1158 of the European parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on work-life balance for parents and carers are also taken into account throughout the thesis. The historical development of working time is analysed, as well as its current status in modern society and expectations for the future. Different forms of flexible working arrangements, such as flexible working hours, job-sharing, and homeworking, are discussed in detail, along with the benefits and drawbacks of each. The thesis also covers part-time jobs and their role in promoting work-life balance. The role of obstacles to work on the employee's side in balancing their personal and work life is also described, particularly those related to life events such as childbirth and caring for children or close family members. This includes maternity leave, paternity leave, parental leave, carer's leave (caring for a family or household member) and long-term care. Comparative analysis of the work- life balance policies in Austria and the Czech Republic

This thesis discusses two family policy models in the two selected Central European countries; the Czech Republic and Austria. The aim is to carry out a comparative analysis of these measures of family policy, which relates to aid reconciliation of family and professional life for families with children. Within this study of individual level measures of family policies in the selected countries, first the measures involving the formation of family and work roles in family life will be explored, followed by the possibility of interaction of the two family policies. The integral parts of the analysis will asses these measures from a gender perspective. The result of this work is a detailed comparison of the components of family policy, which affect the reconciliation of family and professional lives of families with child/children, including evaluation of the effectiveness of individual measures in the two selected countries. In my theses I focus on analysis of three international private market companies. Company GEFCO ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA s.r.o. , Dalkia a.s. a ABB a.s. With this companies I'm interested in the way how they practice corporate social responsibility (CSR). When I was choosing this companies I considered facts as: Company has to have head quarter in Western Europe Company has to have experience with corporate social responsibility and has to practice CSR and has to organize social responsible activities. All chosen companies are leaders in its business sector. In my theses I will focus on overview about CSR activities of companies, mainly on corporate philanthropy. I will focus on cooperation of these companies and non government organization, I'm interested in concrete activities done by NGOs in cooperation with through CSR and how NGOs perceived activities that are done through CSR. I'm interested in the way how companies involve their employees into CSR. I 'm going to aim if subsidiaries and head quarters practice same CSR activities and using same CSR tools. I'm also interested in the role of CSR in marketing strategy of these companies. Practical Music Therapy: Music Activities in Pre-School Special Education

Author's précis This work deals with the use of music therapy in special pre-school education. It focuses on the structure and progression of the activities carried out during the music therapy sessions in special kindergarten Štíbrova. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the purposes and charakteristics of the therapy for this kind of clients and to test the influence and difficulty levels of the activities. The basic methods are experiment and observation. In spite of the fact that the influence on the clients is hard to evaluate, it can be said that the basic objectives have been fulfilled. The difficulty was set on the level possible to manage for all the clients. The benefit of the work is the exact and comprehensible description of a usable structure of music therapy session for children from special pre-school facilities. On the grounds of experience, it defines advantages and disadvantages of the tested activities. The theses can become a source of inspiration for lecturers and teachers in pre- school special education and explain the basic issues to readers without any knowledge from the field. The activities could also be applicable in the common kindergartens.

Business plan - extending the services of a kindergarten

The thesis deals with the business intention of extending the services of a kindergarten in the city of Prague - Velká Chuchle. The work consists of three parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical issues related to the given issue. The next part is devoted to introducing kindergarten, its market position. The last part of the thesis focuses on a specific business plan that is created based on the market gap in this area of business.
